Yunus Emre Soygenis was born in 1995 in Ankara and moved to Istanbul after high school to pursue his bachelor’s degree at Marmara University Faculty of Law. Since 2021, Yunus Emre has been a registered attorney at law at the Istanbul Bar Association. In 2023, he completed a master’s degree in “European and International Business Law” LL.M. program at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church (“KRE”) in Budapest/Hungary with the 100% Hungarian State Scholarship. He is currently pursuing a PhD at KRE in Budapest, also supported by the same scholarship on the topic of “Legal Protection of International Investments between Hungary and Türkiye Trade Relations”. With six years of experience in the corporate sector, Yunus Emre specializes in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, Investment Law, Real Estate Law, and International Commercial Arbitration. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys travellig and snowboarding. He is also licensed ice hockey player. Moreover, he was the former President of the Marmara Model United Nations and International Law Society between the years of 2017 and 2018, and he participated in over 15 Model United Nations conferences worldwide.
