Salt & Partners takes copyright infringement very seriously and adheres to the following policy regarding copyright infringement claims:
- Individuals claiming copyright infringement must provide a notification containing the following information:
- A signature (physical or electronic) of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
- A description of the copyrighted work that the claimant alleges has been infringed;
- A description of where the material that is claimed to be infringing is located on the site;
- The claimant's contact information, including address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
- A statement by the claimant that they have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in the notification is accurate and that the claimant is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Upon receipt of a valid infringement notification, Salt & Partners will take appropriate actions, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. Salt & Partners will also notify the content provider, member, or user that it has removed or disabled access to the material.
Content providers, members, or users who believe that the content that was removed or to which access was disabled is not infringing, or who believe they have the right to post and use such content, may provide a counter-notification containing the following information:
- The content provider’s, member’s, or user’s signature (physical or electronic);
- Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access was disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the content provider, member, or user has a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the content; and
- The content provider’s, member’s, or user’s name, address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address, and a statement that such person or entity consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court for the judicial district in which the content provider’s, member’s, or user’s address is located, or if the content provider’s, member’s, or user’s address is outside of Turkey, for any judicial district in which Salt & Partners is located, and that such person or entity will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
